Select the keychains you want, then press and hold the Option key and drag the selected keychains into another folder to copy them to the folder.To locate these files, press and hold the Option key and choose Go > Library, then open the Keychains folder. Keychain check box is unticked, for about 10 seconds, then, automagically, it is reticked. ![]() No Problem, I don't have any devices running that software. In an attempt to turn it off and on again, I unticked it and was told any device running iOS8 and earlier or OS X Yosemite, iCloud Keychain would be turned off on those devices also. I have been to System Preferences>iCloud and Keychain was ticked. I click on Safari>Preferences>Passwords> enter password and its completely empty. Everything seems to be working fine apart from Keychain. Initially it installed Mountain Lion, but then I found out how to install Catalina from Internet recovery (VERY useful - Thankyou Apple). Keychain not working on OS X Catalina, working fine everywhere else I have recently done a fresh install on my Mac mini 6,1 using Internet recovery. See screenshots.Īlso: in OS X, passwords were indicated using the symbol, but these are not showing up in Keychain Access on Big Sur. I note that the UI of Ke圜hain Access is completely different and does not seem to have an 'iCloud' section. I tried exporting the Keychains from my MBP 2019 then imported manually into Keychain access on my MBP 2020 running Big Sur, but no change. Yes I can still see the passwords in my iOS devices. Yes I can still see the passwords in my old MBP 2019. I can tell because a) I cannot see any passwords in the Keychain Access app, and b) when I attempt to log on to a web site or app where the password is stored - for example, my Adobe account - I am not prompted to select the password (as I was on OS X Catalina). However, none - not one - of my stored passwords transferred across. ![]() Big Sur Keychain Access: No Passwords I just received my new 2020 MPB running Big Sur and transferred everything directly using Migration Assistant.
